Swedish adventurer Renata Chlumska completed an 18,200km circumnavigation of the United States by kayak and bicycle in 2005-06, towing the kayak on a trailer between water sections. Chlumska was the first Swedish woman to summit Everest before turning to long-distance kayaking and cycling.
